Thanks for posting that. Good to know that this can happen, and that this is a potential fix. I haven't had it happen to me but I have the same unit so if mine stops working, I'll check it out....

Raymarine Linear Actuator Type 2S stopped working !

Stopped working with the message on the control head "DRIVE STOPPED"

I could feel the clutch engaging as the wheel would lock but it was no longer steering.

Got it out and took it apart...

I ground out my chainplates and re-glassed them in, after shortening them a little. I cut off the high stress area where it goes through the deck.
