We found the correct cruising boat for us. Bought it in 1992. It could have taken off as it was.

But, we worked on making it more comfortable for us. Moved aboard full time...

What weight oil are you using?

The oil weight will loose viscosity as it heats up. If you are using 30 Wt. you might try going to 40, AFTER you check with a real gauge.

It's working GREAT for us. One caution, if you get the type that has wax in it, for the first few HOT days, it might seep some out. It's best if you can find the old type that is just braided cotton...

Ya got me thinking and I just went on Youtube. There are 57 episodes there FREE for the watching!! What fun. I have a Google Chrome, so I can watch it on our large TV, but the quality is not so hot....
