I agree with you. Not everybody has the funds to cut out and redo their top. Since I did not have any rot but did make the sag worse when I tensioned the rig some action had to be taken. I am pleased...

Sorry it's been a while, I removed the bulkhead and drillled the top there was no rot. Some water was leaking at the hole for the mast wiring. I made a pipe with adjustable end. placed under the mast...
