Standing Rigging

I own a 1984 32 Sabre and was wondering when does one begin to think about changing the standing rigging ? I sail off shore and sometimes in rough seas ? The Pros can''t seem to agree. Any thoghhts ?

Did not use more than 600 grit to wet sand, HCL was in a product bought at Boat US

Not an attitude !! Yes one can sai in a fog or any where without any instruments, but why do it ? We onced plowed the field with mules just because it was good then doe not mean we should not evolve....
