everything you listed sounds like student life. I work two bartending jobs, and am joining the reserves to try and get some extra summer employment, already cut my budget down to start saving cash...

As a fellow Canadian student I feel ya when you say its expensive to live and be a student.

Average student is supposed to work 20 hours a week, and somehow pay over 10 grand in tuition, 2 grand...

Essentially decided to do a circumnavigation instead of doing my MSc Financial Engineering as my field has no job...

I've looked at used ones, and can definitely afford one, but finding it hard to find one without hull damage. There's a couple in my area for 1200-3000 but they are quoted to have a soft spot on...

I disagree with part of this. Lately the trend is younger people being underemployeed and not just unemployeed. This is much worse than unemployeed.
