I think the biggest issue with your plans is the ability to show other countries you enter, a boat that has been registered in your country.

I'm not sure of the ramifications on that issue.

Ouch,

With a mustang it's a little more than a few bucks (about $75.00 the last time I checked).

Still a very good idea for a person to know they can rely on the equipment they are using.
