btw its not a good idea to sit in the shade of a coconut tree,when a nut falls it hits the ground with a loud thud even so I've never heard of anyone getting hit but its bound to happen

I doubt the crowd around my dock has ever even been more than a mile or two away from my marina,a trip down to the next lake would be a major event in fact some rarely leave their slip I seriously...

the site[opencpn] is a bogus site,advertizements and some sort of charity,i just spent 2 or more hours erasing it from my pc,i'm going to give you the benefit of doubt and hope it was unintentional...

I have a usb cable to connect,my plan was use the little garmin to transfer the info. onto my laptop for easier viewing,thanks i'll check into opencpn

I prefer paper charts but sometimes don't have the necessary ones!as for mistakes on my first attempt gps=easy gps I somehow erased the preloaded charts and I didn't even figure out how,thanks

I almost always single hand in fact I prefer to dock by myself,i put a long dock line on the bow cleat and a slightly shorter one on the stern,just before backing into my slip i arrange these lines...

I've done most of the icw alone,if I run across a place I like I just hang out for a couple of days to rest,a autopilot is a must for a singlehander,women are wonderful but not a must!

yup it could be done,but I wouldn't risk it!,my depth finder gave up the ghost last year and I bought a little hummingbird and epoxied the tranducer inside the hull,it works so well that I bought...
