Thanks for the reply it seems there are alot of 37 CC's and 38's but not very many 39.9 Citation's. I bought the boat from a family in New York the father who was the owner had passed away in 2011...

Maybe I brought up the wrong Irwin (1979, 39 Citation) but I too am restoring and it is a planed 2 year project. I would love to hear from anyone who has a 39 about some of their do's and dont's....

If you are in the Ft. Lauderdale area be very careful about not only tieing up but anchoring also. I don't think they like sailboaters very much. I speak from experience.

That makes sense the gear has no cooler on it so engine running or not probably does't pose a wear problem on the clutch plates. Thanks for the heads up
