That long 'toggle plate' has two very severe potential failure areas - IMO. Id make the guess that Bavaria didnt do this; but, a 'rigger' did this. 'IT DOESNT 'LOOK RIGHT'.

I have done a week charter on one of the many rental boats on the canal. We went from Carcasonne to Narbonne. It was a highlight of my life and we will go back at some point. Supposed to be doable...

yeah aluminum has no issues at all it so damn good especially around improperly bedded and or stainless stuff bonk
