Yup, always sail nude, my boat is considered clothing optional by the crew, both male and female. And no we don't get our man hood or woman hood caught in anything. We've all been using our equipment...

Bahama derives from a spanish word meaning shallow water. Or so I am told. Shoal draft boats are better for the area.

Its my humble opine that with it being a tiller boat, the do it yourself complete replacement of shaft, coupling, cutlass, packing, hose etc, is the way to go and is not super easy but really doable....

Yes, the worm gear and the unusual position of the wheel take some getting used to. Of course they are so overbuilt that its difficult for anything to go wrong. They are very sturdy.
