Leaching salt from plywood

Does anyone have a successful way of leaching old impregnated salt from plywood. I have a small area near the bilge on a fore peak bin plywood bulkhead bin that in the past has taken on salt water....

Could anyone advise how to stop a Perkins 4.108 in the event of a stop solenoid failure. As far as I can see there is no mention of how to do this in the owners manual. Thankyou

Repair guys skill can fairly accurately be measured by the condition of their work boat. Often the more derelict the boat the better the craftsman.

Timber boats can be be renewed and original components might be very limited over time. However the essential identity is the same. I am not aware
