I'm planning on buying more chain this year, both for the extra length I might need in Nova Scotia, but also for the effect on boat trim. I don' have much on the stern of the boat, but I have found...

Re: 34 vs 37

I have a 37; my much-loved stern gas locker presently holds three (count 'em 3) CNG tanks. (Those are large and long and heavy things, like SCUBA tanks.) And I have propane in there too, for the...

Re: PSC 37 staysail sheet rigging options?

But you haven't taken control of your boat yet. The previous owners always do random stuff, and it is up to each of us to rig something we...

Question self-steering with mizzen

I know a lot of Crealocks have self-steering wind vanes (usually Monitors),
but I don't know for sure if such a thing would fit with a mizzen sail.
Has anyone ever seen the combination?
Has...

Re: Beneteau 351??

Thanks for the info about the salon table. It looks like a very UNslick piece of design work. Not what I would expect from Beneteau.

This is a separate datum, which I picked up somewhere else...

Re: Beneteau 351??

I have been on board and wrestled with the table (with the help of the broker)
and we could not figure it out. I also took pictures, and you can see the most
revealing one here:...

Re: Beneteau 351??

I'm looking at a used 351 from 1995 which has a dinette tabletop mounted on the compression post. There is a mechanism for raising and lowering it, and it is claimed that it will form a double berth,...
