And, to finish this post, the Forespar pole kit is a perfect replacement, but it comes with a plastic pad-eye. Instead I bought a 420 mast eye, which is metal and a perfect fit for the C-Lark's mast.

I bought the Forespar dinghy spinnaker pole kit, which comes with 6' of 1" OD tubing - this allows one to cut to size. I'm going to a cross check the proposed pole length to the j measurement...
