Re: Uh-oh, sounds like a new Production Boat might have found its limit...

You must live in a different world than I do:

- DWI/texting while driving
- extreme sports
- overdoses on drugs and alcohol
- hiking/hunting in rugged terrain with blizzard forecasts
- using...

Re: Fire @ Fells Point

Yes that can and does happen but today most electric heaters are UL tip over protected as are most LPG heaters such as the Mr. Heater etc.

The most likely cause of winter fires is in the shore...

Re: Jeanneau, the worst boat for the money?

UP, I have been sailing for 40+ years and have done tens of thousands of offshore miles and I would never pretend to know as much about long distance passage making as you profess to. One of the most...

Re: Hypervent or Equivalent? - seeking condensation solution for under berths

I did every berth aboard with it. Makes a huge difference.

Re: Defend Defender!

My approach -- if it's a common item I price it out. If Defender has the best price I buy from them.

A specialty item - I do my homework and make sure it's what I need and that it will work with...

Personally, I've had a perfect history with Defender over many years and many orders. If I want specific information, the manufacturer is the best source.

Certainly there are other vendors that...
