Yes, mast/sail is a inmast furl. I suspect either a stupid party trick, or an over exuberant application of electric winch bravado to the vang.

Inverters on Conch can be all over the place. there are the CIG-lighter-12v versions....all the way up to 3000+ inverters. some can charge a phone, some can dry your girls hair and toast bread mix...
