I sail after work often. In the cool dark nights getting home near midnight isnt a big deal to me. I was only curious if other people are doing similar adventures.

Marine battery. Siren 17'. Battery box secures battery with a lid. Just curious if epoxy would hold it since there is nothing to screw it into. My original idea was to fiberglass a pice of 3/4"...

When i got my boat the battery and fuel tank is in the bilge under the cockpit floor. They battery tends to slide around down there in its plastic battery box. Would 5200 or epoxy be enough to glue...

what do you guys think about getting a 1987(?) O'day Daysailer III for the purposes of learning to sail by yourself? Is this a good boat for use on the chesapeake bay coves and covered areas?
