Re: We have fallen for the Cheoy Lee 40 Offshore

Actually, you would be surprised about the headroom under there. The birth is huge and has much more room than the pics would reveal. It is a very nice boat to say the least.

Re: Pros and cons of steel sailboats

See, I would think Bob is more the pipe smoking, bearded ghost Captain from the Ghost and Mrs Muir. :D

Or maybe we are doing the wrong era here, Archie Bunker vs Meathead

Ducks for cover...

Re: Pros and cons of steel sailboats

Oh, and lets face it, he only has one bullet for his gun and he keeps it in his pocket. Definitely Barney.

I wish I had taken more...

Re: Pros and cons of steel sailboats

EDIT: BOB! NO NO NO! That is the other Pyle, i.e. Gomer Pyle the one that left Mayberry and joined the Marines. We are talking GOOBER PYLE. His much cooler brother. And don't be Ward Cleaver, he...

Re: Worse than a garage... I may need help

I think it is human nature. We didn't used to trash anything ever, unless it was trash. Hardware was fixed or rebuilt or kept as a spare. Now we live in a throw away society where things are...

Re: Ever had a MEDICAL EMERGENCY while at SEA?

Wow Killarney! What a scary story and I totally agree that the odds of having the "right" antibiotic on hand would just be plain luck depending on the bug that was trying to kill you. I have had a...
