Re: Ocean baby rescue underway off Mexico

There's a FB group, Women Who Sail, that Charlotte Kaufman helped start that is rallying around her with fund raisers, collecting items that will be needed when they touch land, assisting family...

Re: Jamestown - Total Boat bottom paints?

Caleb, we haven't used the Total Boat bottom paint, but have used their Total Boat teak product and have had (so far) good results with it.

Not the same, I know, but seems like a good product line.

Re: Interior Lighting Upgrades

Thanks! Mouser came up repeated in my searches. I've been thinking about the on-off-red option. That would require sourcing red LEDs (not a biggie) which is also on the list. I'll PM you with...

Re: Interior Lighting Upgrades

AirborneSF, can you post a link? The only rocker switches I"m seeing on Ebay are .5" or larger. Hubby and I remeasured and ideally .45" finished width or less is what we need.

We went ahead and...

Re: Interior Lighting Upgrades

I've been using "mini rocker switch" as a google search item and having only minimal luck. I try local hobby shops and see what I can find. Radio Shack's switches were too big...

Re: Interior Lighting Upgrades

The current lenses have the switch dead center of the lens. I was hoping to avoid drilling holes in our new lenses. This may not be possible, if I can't find a small enough rocker switch.

Hubby...

Re: Interior Lighting Upgrades

Here's a picture of the switch in place. The molding around each fixture is not even...the edge is widest on the exterior facing sides (makes sense, managing the curve of the cabin top to get a flat...

Re: Interior Lighting Upgrades

Yes, its REALLLLLLY brown. We first thought it was just aged plastic, but now we're thinking it was deliberate to "soften" the light, since there is one dark brown shade in the Master Stateroom and...

Re: Interior Lighting Upgrades

Dang it, Eherliy! Got the switches and they are two gnats' too big. Nice try, though.

Back to google search. Hubby says I'm obsessed and should give up. I figure if a floor lamp in Fairfield...

Re: Bad news, composite propane tank recall

Looks like really poor management. Too bad. Great product idea. We loved the composite tank on our Gemini and were planning to get one for our Irwin.

We had some...

We're going with Marinebeam.com (http://store.marinebeam.com/irwin-led.html) because they offer LED...
