they drilled the holes a bit off...meaning the latch closes by jiggling the hatch around a bit...no there is no rubber grommet to sit against however like the forward hatch that would be nice for...

bought poly at a glass shop and tinted it for cheap at an auto place

its 3/8ths thick and works great...however the guys installed the old latch a bit lobsided but its much better than the old...

a quick tip is narrow the decade of year built you want...it helps narrow down design parameters, 70s,80s, 90s 2000s etc...

I get much more than 2 hours out of my nissan/tohatsu 3.5 at half throttle, however my boat is light...

these are all similar engines...I had an evinrude 3.3 with the exact same tank, head...

while jeffS POST is spot on manufacturing wise there are many times when being out there that boats can benefit with either stregthening rigging or adding...

fuel on deck and the associated loading and unloading to and from the dinghy and taxi rides to and from the gas station in remote places is the #1 reason I have contemplated going electric propulsion...

man I have seen some boats with rf mains...I also buddy cruised with a perry Islander 36 with a rf main and I had to slow down for that boat and I was 28 ft ketch...

that boat suffered...
