Have you looked for pictures of the PSC 44? I'm pretty sure they have 2 winches on the coaming. Also why don't you use the secondary winch for the headsail and the primary for the preventer when you...

Re: PS37 turning block arrangement

I normally go to the foredeck on high side so I don't have to try to fit my size 11 in between the loaded sheet and the bulwark. Also I think the PSC 37 primary winch is mounted to take the load from...

Re: Air Head Composting Toilet or Similar Mfg.

Reading about the Nature's Head: the head vent to the outside using a mushroom vent: does that affect the water integrity of the boat when sailing hard to weather if the vent is forward of the beam?

Re: Prop walk on a Crealock 37

I have a maxi prop on my Crealock 37. At idle speeds in reverse coming out of the slip I have no noticeable prop walk. When I come into the slip and gun it to stop the boat in reverse is a different...

Re: Highfield Ultralight RIBs

Kill: I have one, the smallest aluminum hull they make. I can almost manhandle it myself over the lifelines. Negatives imho: very light so they feel very unstable when moving around and...

Re: 34 vs 37

I agree with choosing a tiller over a wheel. Less moving parts and a big difference in the cockpit once the hook is down. Only regret I have with my 37.

Re: Yawl to Cutter Conversion

Non tech answer here: why someone would want to do such a thing is beyond me. The Crealock 37 Yawl is a beautiful boat (I have one) and that mizzen mast sets the boat apart from every other boat in...
