I was in Suva a few months ago for several weeks. No problems at all except that the local officials seemed to have discovered a new fumigation scam that was costing some cruisers several hundred dollars.
We quite liked Fiji and would not mind spending more time there and seeing more islands - it is quite large with a lot of variety. In some cases you need special permits though

Big change in our status. we have decided that we cannot safely (in my mind) leave South Africa this season allowing for the time needed for my hand to recover from its injury. All typing is right-handed at this point. We will leave Ainia in SA and head north and west in the early southern summer ~Oct/Nov?
