How much does a survey cost on the average? And how do you find a surveyor?

Survey costs vary somewhat. Usual charge is around $12/ft.
Our last survey on a T27 cost $350 if I remember correctly.

I had a Tartan 27 which I sailed from Seattle Wa to East coast and circumnavigated the Caribbean. With out a doubt the T 27 is one of the best small sailing boast ever built. They are solid on all points of sail handle weather and comfortable for cruising. T 27 all the way...
