Talking T.O.C.K. Anyone?

Just wanted to note that we are here with our TOCK, BEAR hull #5 docked in St. Augustine, FL. We are doing a major refit and glad to help & talk to other Tock owners/lookers. We love our Bear

Hope your refit is progressing. Suspect you are temporarily slowed by TS Fay. Am considering TOCK. Please direct me to any good technical review(s). Thank you in advance.

Have you had any luck finding reviews of the Tartan TOCK? I particularily interested in its blue water performance.

Janny, I have been out of sailing (involuntarily) for several years, and am getting back to it this year. Being a sailor without a boat, I actually joined SailNet this morning for 2 reasons - one, to talk with folks who own Tartan boats as I fully intend to purchase one next year; and, two, to find someone who may want an extra hand on deck next Friday or Saturday (Feb 20-21, 2009) for a daysail while I'm down in Orlando. If I can't find a daysail next week-end, my alternate plan was to go to St. Augustine's and just watch the sailboats. May I come and visit you next Friday? Thanks!

Looking for Tartan TOCK 41 sail & rigging plans. (Found one site, am unable to read those numbers.)

Frazzetti
I have the orginal manuals for my TOCK, and if I remember corectly they have the lengths for all of the running rigging, and specs on standing rigging. There are web sites that show sail dimensions.
Thanks
Ed
