Honeymoon Trips?

My future wife and I have been toying around with the idea of taking a sailing trip for our honeymoon. Has anyone done this before? Where would be the best place to go? I've done trips all over the west coast and she's done cross pacific trips. Honestly, my main concern is the time we'd have to ourselves....if you catch my drift . Any ideas? has anyone done this?

Re: Honeymoon Trips?

No reason not to!.. If the trip is to be in summer then the quietest nights/most plentiful anchorage/port options and warmest water will be in the PNW, esp BC's Desolation Sound. Charters are available out of Comox, only a daysail away.

Re: Honeymoon Trips?

I'm with Faster.. A PNW charter makes sense.. Small towns when you want them, privacy in small coves also.

No heat problems, short distances between locations.

By brother chartered in the PNW for his honeymoon. It worked out well for them both

I think a cruise is a great idea. Remember you are the Captain andd the louder you shout the faster your crew will respond.
