Harbor Island West ( in SD bay ) has small mono rental, Mission Bay, which is 10 mins from here has all kinds of rentals, kayaks, windsurfers, cats and small monos
Mission Bay will be more fun to sail a small craft in than SD bay,less big boat traffic & more places to beach & play around, you could even sail up to the back side of sea world and check out some pens in the back
