Wink Are you heading towards Catalina or Channel Islands? Need a crew?

Hello sailors!

I'm interested to sail towards Catalina or Channel Islands.

I wanted to do it on my boat but I don't think I'll be able to get it ready until before it's too late this summer, so decided to post here. I'm in San Francisco Bay area but will be happy to drive to where you are starting from.

I've not been in to sailing for very long, just about a year. I've raced on 25' Merits in SF Bay and took my boat out to SF Bay and Monterey Bay as well. Came back dry and alive... if that counts.

I'm really dreaming of going from SF south to LA/San Diego area via all the islands on the way. However but my boat (and myself) are not ready to pull it off quiet yet. I'm repairing a few things and need to get some extra equipment to consider it safe and ready to go.

If you are heading towards the islands and need crew please keep me in mind.
If you are going to do a delivery North ---> South I can go to.
My best timing would be between June 21st - July 10th this summer, but other dates may work as well. I'll be glad to pitch in for expenses.

I'm 34y.o., have no issues and can do almost anything on board.

Please reply back to this post or email.

Alex
