Is there a Centurion 40s Owners' Group?

Yesterday we closed on our 2008 Wauquiez Centurion 40s, hull #96, and now we are eager to connect with other owners. Any and all info will be appreciated! We will be taking delivery from Annapolis next month and moving her down the Bay to Charleston - a first time adventure for us. Thanks!

Post Re: Is there a Centurion 40s Owners' Group?

Hi,

Maybe not formally, but I just joined so maybe 2's a group. Have 2006 40s
in Ventura, CA.

Sailed her to Mexico for fall, winter, spring of 08. Did Transpac 2 years ago and kept her in HA for fall, winter, spring and then to Seattle for summer and home last fall.

Generally cruise Channel islands here. Love the boat. Will take her to Mexico again this fall.

If you race, have almost new North 155 mylar and Code 0 + good 2s and hardly used 4s = all North and available.

Only one issue. Keel became loose. Discovered that the holes in hull were 1/4" oversized for bolts and space was filled in with some form of filler. Needed to epoxy holes, redrill and set bolts for tighter fit.

The best upgrade I believe I made was the electric halyard winch. Haulin' that main up got to be too much work! Can't see living without it now.

Jim
