Sloop with wheel steering and outboard rudder. Large open cabin makes it roomy for two, have comfortably had 4 for a week but you have to be good friends. Holding tank and Water run out after 2 1/2s with 4 aboard.

Great heavy weather boat. Original 135 Genoa and single reef point main make it underpowered in light wind and hard to find right combination of sail in some conditions. Would be solved with 145 or 150 Genoa and 2 reef point main.

I bought the boat new in 1990 and sold it in spring of 98. Very well thought out and very high quality. The winged keel was great here due to shallow water and I never had sailing problems with it. The epoxy cover on the keel doesn't like it when you hit rocks and chips off in big pieces but is easy to repair. The only reason I sold it was for a 91 P31.
