Pros: Very forgiving, quick and easy to rig
Cons: Cockpit likes to collect a little water via the scuppers

Normally I sail a high-performance Flying Dutchman, but wanted a second boat to sail single-handed that my wife could also handle. The Pico fills the bill very nicely. It handles well, has decent speed for an 1 1/2 foot boat, will carry weight without complaining. It can be sailed with or without the optional jib (but is certainly faster to windward with the jib), and the main can be sailed reefed if the jib is not present. It is a little slower than a Sunfish speedwise. The Mylar sails are noisy when luffing or tacking. The hiking strap is usable only by the skipper, any crew does without. I added a swivel cam for the mainsheet as I personally did not care for the side-deck mainsail cleats. Some duck tape over the scuppers on the stern might take care of the water collection annoyance, but then the cockpit would not be truly self-bailing.
