rolling furler

Will it is hard to explain. On my boat I had a swaged eye at the top end of the headstay and a swaged fork at the battom with a turnbuckle at the chainplate. I could not feed either end through the foil. I cut one end and used a staylock. Then it was short. I thought I could make it up with something on the turnbuckle but that didn''t work either. So it cost another $60
I think it was to finish.
