Bristol 30

My dad is looking to upsize to a 30 footer. He is a life long sailor and is looking for a traditional full keel cruiser. He has owned the "prettiest boat" (Margret D Ketch) at the club since 1979, and his words are "I don''t want my next boat to look like a clorox bottle." A friend of his reccommended this boat. The friend has seen this boat in person and said it is immaculate.

He called the dealer and the boat has been professionally restored over the last couple of years. They have receipts for over 40k invested. The asking price is also lower now.
He is not looking for a racing boat since he can always get a ride on mine. He is looking for a daysailor and 1-2 week cruiser for the New England coast.

Is there anyone who knows alot about these boats? Any other boats on the market in the 15-30k price range that would be simmilar to this?
Thanks for any input.
