Very nice Skywalker. That is a fairly elegant solution to the problem of the "ice box" that most Tartan 27's have. The original box was poorly insulated and right next to the inboard motor. Finding the right sized cooler to fit your space is crucial. Fortunately they make a few sizes of Yeti coolers.

I was impressed with the Yeti cooler that was on a sailboat I was on for a few days. It really did keep the ice frozen longer than an Igloo or similar cooler, perhaps up to 3 days if the cooler was not opened regularly.
The Yeti coolers are a bit pricey but not as expensive as installing a compressor/refridge unit.
