Fly swatters are sufficient. No need for a salt weapon , besides half the ones you kill are on your person.


We have friends with full screen cockpit enclosures who have had issues with the green heads. While the “traveling tent” idea may work, I’d still carry some swatters

These green heads are Way more aggressive than the flies you normally find on the water.
