I think you mean decrease the temp John. The manual for the Link says in order to get 14.8 absorption I need to lower default ambient temp to 50F. Sadly this results in a float of 13.9. I have the solar that is currently on the boat set correctly using the supplied Blue Sky 3000i controller to the batteries so until I can get my other upgrades out of storage I will have to rely on solar bringing them up to float at proper levels. It made it today despite being partly cloudy. Just barely. Previous owner has start and house batteries wired in one bank. 6 Trojan T105 Plus. No redundancy. I have a lot of work to do.
