Two methods I know of.

One is an ozone generator, but the Ozone is very bad for rubber or plastic or both. It's controversial whether one treatment is acceptable.

The other is chlorine dioxide gas.

The trick with both is needing to go to extreme lengths to seal the boat from air leaks and insure the gas can reach all unseen places.

I've never done either. Prevention is the best answer.
