So would it be worth your either going to look at it with your moisture meter in hand, or asking someone in that area from SailNet to take a quick look on your behalf? Plan on replacing cushions and all canvas ($6K for sails, $6k for canvas). If you choose someone from SailNet, give them a list of things that you want a report and photos of, and offer them $150 for their time the photos and report.

If it pans out, you just saved $38K. If not, you are out $150. - And, someone from SailNet can take their spouse out for a nice dinner.
