It looks like overbored is right that it would tough to mount a swim ladder on a Duncanson 35 because of the high and small transom. Here is a picture of someone who has:

That looks like a custom built ladder. Custom and Semi-custom Ladders are not all that unusual a solution these days. Good luck with your new boat.
