It is an interesting statement. Several thoughts:

* Biobor, to my understanding, is used in most jet fuel. That's a rather critical use.

* Not all biocides are the same. Some (not Biobor JF) will crystallize and fall out if not mixed well. It seems odd to paint them all with one brush.

* If you use a biocide AFTER you have an infection, you will get dead bugs and clogging, and some of that will be on the other side of the filter, where it can damamge injectors.

You MUST use a biocide as a preventative, not as a treatment for existing disease.
