Is it possible when I put the genoa on last spring things were not lined up and I caused this somehow??
Is this a simple loosen the bolts on the wrap stop and put back?
Check if the bracket is positioned within the "flat" half when the sail is hoisted.
My take is that the two set screws or the screws holding the two pieces got loose or lost its grab on the wire. Pretty soon it will start rotating, so it needds attention. Mine did just that and enlarged the wire hole, so I had to purchase a new one.
First thing is to hoist the sail and check where the bracket pictured below is by using a binocular or a drone.
