I hafta admit though, it was comforting seeing the reflection of the dock in his cabin windows.. knowing he was really tied up safely alongside the entire time that storm was raging.
It was meant to be a movie... so yeah... there will be movie platforms in the water, booms, lights, directors in directors chairs, gaffers, everything done on a movie set but in the water... did you expect the movie to be made half way in the Atlantic or Pacific oceans?
For entertainment purposes... I thought is was ok for a 'sailing' movie.. more sailing of this particular boat by Redford would have been right up everyone's alley but it was meant for the dangers/horror of losing ones boat in the emptiness of the vast ocean and nothing more.
