Not an issue while in your slip, but you have to remember to switch to the house bank when you leave the slip and go sailing. I would install an automatic charging relay (ACR) that automatically charges both batteries when power is available and disconnects the start battery when sailing. I installed a Blue Sea ACR a couple of years ago as part of an electrical system upgrade and really happy with it. No more constant playing with the battery switch.
