wanted info finding boats from americas to africa

i am looking to cross the atlantic to africa. not particularly fussed where i start from or land, although w the winds i reckon that will be sa. i know some of the sites for finding boats, but have not found any w many boats heading for africa. would anyone have any helpful info? cheers, vagabond

That's pretty much the 'wrong way around'.. I suspect you'll find very few cruisers headed in that direction.

We are on the east coast of South Africa now. Everyone got here from the east, crossing from Malaysia or Indonesia, sailing with the prevailing wind. There is a possibility of catching a ride from Tierra del Fuego, or thereabouts, up to Africa. It does happen, but not often.
