Water Pressure pump location Allmand 35

This is driving me and my boat mechanic nuts (and costing me a lot of beer!)

The water pressure pump from the water tank has failed and we have not been able to find it.

We tried following the hoses but haven't had any luck. Back when it was working I though I could hear it aft of the galley. Of course, I never traced it back via the sound because well it was working!

Even if someone knows where it is on the 31, it might be a pointer to where it is on the 35.

Thanks in advance for your help

have you checked the fuse or breaker for the pump. the pump should have both hoses and wires gong to it. if the mechanic can't find it I think you need a mechanic that does not drink so much beer. how hard can it be. when on the boat it is no further then 35 feet away from you.

Most likely place is under the galley sink, somewhere. Mine is at the rear of the space under the sink, so that fits with your memory of where the noise came from.

If I had to guess, it is in the sail locker that is just aft of the galley. It may be in a separate box to protect it from items in the sail locker since it is probably a Jabsco Par type reciprocating diaphragm pump.
