Boats for sale

If Boat Ads had a Boat Location Field that was selectable and/or searchable, it would be a niece improvement. Also a price field for those of us with a limited budget.

I spent quite awhile searching for boats for sale in the Philippines, 14 pages of Ads and found only 2 boats. only one which I might be able to afford.

Re: Boats for sale

sailboatlistings.com has international listings - keep an eye there.
Check Phuket and Tahiti and Panama for dreams/plans-changed boats for sale.
Oz and NZ have well established markets for buyers and sellers.

Unless you get lucky, you are probably a plane ride away from a boat you would want.

Anyone have any advice search for boats in Guam, or surrounding area?
Boat trader, Craigslist, yacht world, boats.com, Facebook, Bookoo, etc just seems like very little out there. Kinda seems like local market word of mouth type place...?
I’m moving there in July 2019, and want to get into a live aboard sailing platform. I’m thinking 40ft mono is prob about what the budget can handle. Cats would be more comfortable but they still pretty pricey.
I’ll have access to the navy MWR marina so slip fees shouldn’t be bad. But buying across the big pond and sailing across on a new to me rig on a shakedown cruise, doesn’t sound like my idea of a good time, especially since I’d be on a tight schedule, so that would only leave shipping company options.

Re: Boats for sale

Maybe contact marinas, charter bases and sailing clubs as far out as philippines.
Could expand search to australia.
Beyond that you might as well include hawaii
