So, we now can be sure it was extortion, or the taking of hostages.
Or perhaps in the best of nautical tradition, he was dragooned.

Are you talking about CF or SA or Woodenboat ?
As a fairly long term observer of SN forums I can say that this is a pretty mellow group of mods. I like that they are a bit diverse in their knowlege. It is great to Jeff_H around for serious engineering and sailing quality discussions since he is (almost) a marine architect. And if he is not there are other members here who are, Dave.
I too miss Ron's even handed hand too but wish him fair winds on whatever endeavor he emarks on. And who doesn't miss Fuzzy with his upside down OZ view on things...
Donna has a firm background in USCG practices since she is in the Auxilliary, iirc. I think she liked my Bermuda fish chowder when she tried in Rock Hall back when.
I think that Rezz will add to the Mod Squad by covering the trailer sailer end of the spectrum, with his Windrose 23'. I know he is good at covering triage situations and is a great guy. I can say that since I have met him and have had a meal together with our wives.

Ugh... What an absolute pain. I'll catch you on chat sometime if I see you pop up there. Nothing major - just following up on stuff from earlier today.
