Cool My story....

Hola from Porto Pollensa Majorca Spain...

I am not sure if this is the correct area to share sailing stories, but I wanted to share mine. Feel free to connect with me or comment.

Re: My story....

Oh Great! Another place for me to live vicariously through another persons adventurous life. I can hardly wait to dig into all the tid bits to get me out of this horribly mundane lifestyle full of responsibilities that I have ......
Are these virtual things tiring or am I just getting old?
Oh wait......
I am old.
I forgot.
What was I talking about?
Where am I anyway?

Re: My story....

Beautifully written... Reads like a fairy tale. But almost like the back of a book jacket.... a teaser. More please!

You might want to flush out how the yoga thing started.. and of course how you found that being on the water sailing fit your new you. I think you can articulate this and I would love to read it.

It is rather unusual to really abandon what has been drilled into you for your entire life and sprout up like a new flower into a world that was invisible before.

I suspect many people DO want to escape the rut they found themselves in regardless of their monetary success and see sailing a "freeing" on the one hand and a means that one can... on their own essentially... visit almost the whole planet... no waiting in lines at check in counters or even making reservations. It's a lifestyle of complete self reliance... goodbye to the nanny state and corps and media that decide so many... almost all lives.

I look forward to reading about your physical and mental travels.

Welcome aboard and fair winds and following seas... Amy.
