Seabreeze 35 vs Tartan 34C vs Bristol 34

Hello, I am new to the Sailnet, am considering a well upgraded Allied Seabreeze c/b 35 for Chesapeake bay, classic, also in the running a Tartan 34 C, Bristol 34, as a stretch Bristol 35.5 but issue of c/b vs 5'9 fixed keel comes up, many say C/b version is more tender and more maintenace etc, Thoughts on any of these issues appreciated all have to be able to be single handed as a safety issue.

This is really in the wrong place. I would suggest moving it to Boat Review and Purchase Forum to get better exposure.

Re: Seabreeze 35 vs Tartan 34C vs Bristol 34

Of the three the Bristol 34 offers the best combination of build quality and sailing abilities in a broad range of conditions.

The Tartan 34 is a close second offering shallower draft and similar upwind ability with the board down.

The Seabreeze is of similar build quality but the worst sailing ability in all conditions. The early Seabreezes were built in the Netherlands and were nicely finished.

BTW, I moved this to the Boat Review and Purchase Forum.
