Hello, I have been looking around for an easily launched 20-22' trailer sailor. Have found a few of the bigger names around then came across this one, Lanaverre 630 on double axel trailer. Boat is in very good shape, trailer has 5 new tires, outboard running well, sails original but in good shape for age. Listed at a reasonable price.

I can not find much written about it but have found a few reviews in French. Google translate seem to come across that it is very well built, does well at coastal cruising, and handles heavy weather for a small boat. I also got pics and data off sailboatdata site.

Things that I find interesting/like about it:
1)630m (21ft) with 4 berths.
2)Out board motor well is in front of rudder (see pic)
3) The way the keel swings (see pic)
4) Mast supported all the way to keel
5) Heavy(ish) displacement.

Can anyone tell me more about this sailboat. Also feel free to offer comments based upon pictures and data.

Looks like a nice sturdy little cruiser.

The mast is supported by a post, but is deck stepped. This is good for the potential to keep the bilge dry. Keel stepped masts are problematic with respect to a dry bilge.

The outboard in a well - that's a mixed blessing IMO.. Wells can be splashy if not properly designed wrt to the cockpit area, the lazarette/motor compartment must be vented to prevent air starvation. Some installs are rather noisy as the engine is that much closer to the crew in the cockpit. Wells can also interfere with 'steering by motor' (a primary advantage of an outboard) and can prevent tilting the motor up while sailing to reduce drag. Having the rudder behind the prop, however, is a plus.

Is this the swing keel version? From the drawing it looks as is the fixed keel version would be much more stable, seems to have relatively more ballast.

Kinda reminds me of a mini Albin Vega.. not a bad thing.

More pictures sent of the boat, sails and motor. Thinking I might go for this one.
