Re: Tartan T28 vs C&C 29 MK2

Both good boats. Spent a lot of time sailing a both unlike sailforlife who is brand biased because he just bought a 37 Tartan.

Tartan is a good all round boat a pocket cruiser first. C&C is a racer / cruiser . Points better upwind
Build quality is good for both.
C&C 29 comes in two models......entirely different

You can't go wrong with either, but always choose the one in better overall shape

Re: Tartan T28 vs C&C 29 MK2

Thank you for taking the time to reply, guys. I really appreciate it. Just BTW, I spent a fair amount of time sailing a C&C 29 MKII out of Huron, OH many years ago. Love her. I also sailed a couple of times, as crew, with Tim Jackett during his MORC days out of Edgewater YC, OH. Genuinely terrific, friendly guy. I saw and read the review re the C&C 29, linked above, before. I was hoping that a similar article was available for the Tartan T28. No such luck, to date! Thanks again...Joe.
