Re: Never mind the 47' Bermuda

I saw something on an infomercial. Spray it on and wipe it off. Good as new.

Jeanneau 54DS

In the harsh marine environment, something is always in need of repair. Margaritas fix everything.

This looks like the set from some post-flood holocaust flick.

"After the flood destroyed all the buildings, the survivors were forced to take refuge in beached boats..."

Advert should read:
One owner boat proven circumnavigator, have to sell due to health. Priced to sell, I don't need the money but won't just give her away so don't waste my time with lowball offers.

I have all the parts to finish the build, she just needs some TLC. Engine ran great the last time it was in the water.

A little elbow grease and some upgrades and you can sail the world!

Don't forget "85% complete".

That thing will need the BIG buffer.

Spend $100 grand plus, many years of your life, likely your marriage and when you are done you'll be able to sail about as well as a haystack.

I, myself, personally intend to continue being outspoken and opinionated, intolerant of all fanatics, fools and ignoramuses, deeply suspicious of all those who have "found the answer" and on my bad days, downright rude.

Re: Never mind the 47' Bermuda

It's almost in the same condition as Joshua Slocum found the original Spray.
